DOSB and the German Foreign Affairs in the development of Athletics Rwanda

Through the cooperation between Rwanda Athletics Federation and the Germany Olympic Sports Committee (DOSB) after the approval of World Athletics – Rwanda Athletics Federation organized a level one coaching course from 21st October to 2nd November 2019, the cours’ Director was IAAF Lecturer Torsten Tesch from DOSB Germany who was in Rwanda from 19thOctober to 12thNovember for development projects aiming at athletics development in Rwanda mainly focusing on the education of grassroots coaches and physical education teachers, talent detection and kid’s athletics program sponsored by the Foreign Office of Germany.
Seventeen Active local athletics coaches were awarded the international level I licenses after completing a 12-day training course at Urumuri Hotel in Gicumbi District, Northern Province.
